It made us wonder, what is your biggest kitchen disaster (and would you have sacrificed cheese to prevent it!?)?ABOUT THE WALKThis route takes us up to the Swift Valley Nature Reserve and along the Old Canal. This is a disused section of the Oxford Canal known as the ‘Brownsover Arm’. It is part of the original canal built in the late 18th Century, which was subsequently straightened out in the 1830’s leaving this section abandoned.The route then takes us towards Cosford, a shrunken medieval village. We pass very closely by the village farm and then head towards and past the shooting ground before making our way back over the fields to the Oxford Canal. Following the canal, we cross over just near to the Harvester Bell & Barge pub and around and back into the car park.?
